On May 30, 2020, the City of Lincoln experienced civil unrest which resulted in vandalism at several buildings, including the NACO/MIPS building. Below are pictures so you can see some of the damage.
As you might expect, it will take some time before we are back to business as usual. Staff have been instructed to remain off-site for at least the next couple of days and will work remotely. While we will continue providing each of you with the service you need, please be patient with us if that service takes more time and effort than you are accustomed to.
This building is owned by all 93 counties and all of us on the NACO and MIPS staff appreciate that you have given us a comfortable and modern office environment. You may expect that your building will be back up and running as soon as can be.
Please feel free to contact NACO if you have any questions. We want to thank all of you for the well wishes we have already begun to receive. Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep up the good work you do for our fellow citizens.
