After 41 years in the office, Hall County Assessor/Register
of Deeds, Jan Pelland, is retiring.
Hall County is, therefore, accepting applications to fill the position for the remainder of the current term. This is an elected position and the appointee will stand for re-election in 2018.
A current Nebraska Assessor’s Certificate is required to apply for the position.
Prior experience in a County Assessor’s Office and/or an Appraisers license is highly desirable.
The 2017 annual salary is $71,808 increasing to $73,244.16 for the calendar year 2018. A new resolution will be set by the Hall County Board of Supervisors prior to October 1 to cover the next 4 year term.
